Velonews Pre-Tour Journal
Life 1 Comment »Just posted up on Velonews.com. A long day here in Brest. Started up with a pre-ride of a pretty straightforward TT course this morning, then a looooong bus drive west. We fortunately got to see the last 15k of the first stage. Wow. Yeah. Hmm. Gonna be NUTS. Long, sweeping downhill into a small town/funnel across a 1.5 lane bridge with a solid 2k finish kick starting instantly. Pray for sun. Please. Tomorrow is the team presentations for the organization and our team press conference that’ll reveal the new kits. Sharp. That and a 3.5 hour cruise to keep the legs rolling. Gonna be a busy day…
A new Velonews.com Journal
Life 6 Comments »A little bit about the tour selection and what’s ahead. During the Tour I’ll be writing a daily over on Velonews but will add links to each post here on missingsaddle as well. Thanks to everybody for the calls, emails, texts, and comment posts of support! Been an exciting day for sure.
The boss, and the TOUR!
Life 24 Comments »So hot right now. He is, however, forgiven for pulling those shorts up so high because he just shared with me the final roster for the Tour de France, with my name on the list! It’s been a season, and career, goal to be a part of this squad’s tour team, and the dream is now going to be a reality. Pretty damn exciting. We’ve got a great squad headed up to Brest in a week’s time and I can’t wait to be there for them in the three weeks to follow. Now for a bit of bubbly!
